Michigan native James Felton II is an NYC based freelance Dancer, Teaching Artist, and Choreographer. James trained at the Flint School of Performing Arts and at Collage Dance Collective and Grand Rapids Ballet School before earning his BFA from Western Michigan University. James has been grateful to dance the works of notable choreographers Jennifer Archibald, George Balanchine, Mike Esperanza, Mikal Fokine, Amy Hall Garner, Kevin Jenkins, Seyong Kim, Gabrielle Lamb, Darrel Moulterie, Jacki Nowicki, Durante Verzola, and Tony Williams in soloist and principal roles with Eglevsky Ballet, Ballet Theatre Company, Thomas/Ortiz Dance, City Ballet of Boston, Dimensional Dance, Playhouse on Park, and more. James is a company dancer with Thomas/Ortiz Dance and emerging choreographers in festivals and concerts throughout the northeast and Midwest.
