Hayden DeWitt
Hayden DeWitt divides her time between Europe and New York City. She is an active church musician, concert and opera singer and appears regularly with many of New York’s vibrant grass-roots opera companies and Early Music ensembles. Her repertoire spans several centuries of music and includes most of the well-loved staples for lyric mezzo-soprano, as well as some lesser-known gems such. Favorites include Endimione in Cavalli’s 17th century farce “La Calisto,” Cherubino in Saverio Mercadante’s bel canto masterpiece “I Due Figaro,” and Der Trommler in the World War II tragi-comedy “Der Kaiser von Atlantis” by Viktor Ullman.
