
Lars Woodul
Lyricycles’ creative director and baritone Lars Woodul has performed extensively in professional concert and recital performances as soloist in the US and abroad, specializing in 20th century repertoire. He created roles for world premières, including The Secret Agent and Enemies, A Love Story with the Center for Contemporary Opera, Blitzstein’s Sacco and Vanzetti, and Seymour Barab’s License To Marry at the York Theater. Equally at home on the concert stage, he has sung programs for Lincoln Center’s Meet the Artist Series, song recitals with Trinity Wall Street Concerts at One series, Merkin Hall, the Metropolitan Opera Guild, and the Manhattan Chamber Orchestra. He earned his doctorate in at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
